This week the Club has a whole lot going on. Weekday rides and events, weekend events and rides. A little bit for everyone.
Not only do we have the usual morning and evening rides, but we are hosting our 5th Annual Ride of Silence-Wilmington event. Please join us on Wednesday (05/17) to help us remind the public that we cyclists are out riding the same roads that they drive. The event is a family-friendly ride as the group rides an hour for 10 miles at a 10 miles per hour pace. Select the link provided above for more event information.
On Saturday we are hosting the Annual Club Picnic returning to Weiss Park in Salem Woods after a year away. The picnic is open to members and those not-yet-members that are interested in meeting Club members at a Club event. Ride in, drive in or even walk in, all are welcome to join us at this Club sponsored event. Select the link provided above for more information as well.
If you are looking for a ride, remember to monitor the Ride Calendar as they are always being posted. Ride leaders, let’s try to fill in some of those bare spots on the Ride Calendar. I know that the membership is looking for a variety of rides; slow. moderate, and fast paced, short, medium and long distances, and every combination. Post it and they will come.
I hope to see you tomorrow at the Ride of Silence and at the Picnic on Saturday!
