SUMMARY:Legislative Bike Ride
DESCRIPTION:The Delaware Department of Transportation and Delaware Bicycle Council are proud to support the 2023 Legislators Bike Ride! Senator Sokola sponsors this semi-formal ride with routes beginning from New Castle County and Sussex County\, ending at Legislative Hall in Dover. The North riders can begin at the Polly Drummond Hill Shopping Center at 7:00 a.m. (57-miles). North riders can also start from Middletown Square (31-miles) to pick up the group. The South riders begin at Milton Governors Walk at 7:45 a.m. (37-miles). South riders can also start from Milford Square at the Tractor Supply Company (24-miles) or Mike & Mel’s Family Restaurant in Camden-Wyoming (4- miles) to pick up the group. Each group leader will try to accommodate joining riders as best as possible\, but this is not guaranteed. Please adjust your route\, schedule or cycling speed to arrive at the west side of Legislative Hall at 11:45 a.m. If you are unable to join a group but still want to attend the fun and ride to Legislative Hall\, both groups will meet at EDEN HILL at 11:30 AM to ride in unity together. \n  \n  \nThere will be no scheduled refreshment stops along the routes. However\, if needing replenishment please visit one of the local convenience stores or restaurants. A return bus ride from Dover back to Middletown and Polly Drummond Hill Shopping Center can be provided for a maximum of 25 riders on the Biking Blue Hens Bus.
