SUMMARY:Thomas Stevens Ride
DESCRIPTION:Thomas Stevens was the first man to ride a penny-farthing ( high wheel) bicycle both across the United States and then around the world. Our goal for this year is exceed the 17\,200 miles he rode. With the many bicycle clubs with all types of bicycles across the country that are planning to do this ride\, we should easily meet that goal. Your club or your individual members can choose to ride either day\, alone or together with other members of your club. and any route. Each member that rides would give his total mileage to your club president\, ride master or one other person in the club. Then as an example\, he/she would provide the name of your club with total number of riders\, mileage for each rider and the grand total for your club.
