SUMMARY:9/11 National Memorial Trail Tour
DESCRIPTION:This meaningful journey will cover a distance of 1\,200 miles over 27 days\, traversing through scenic landscapes and paying tribute to the memory of those affected by the events of September 11\, 2001. Commencing in Arlington\, Virginia at the Pentagon Memorial on June 5\, the tour will take cyclists clockwise following the 9/11 Trail before ultimately ending back in Arlington\, Virginia on July 1. Let’s come together to make the 9/11 National Memorial Trail Bike Tour 2024 a symbol of unity\, remembrance\, and resilience!\n\nIn the spirit of giving back\, the Alliance is excited to share a unique fundraising opportunity associated with this cycling tour. For every dollar raised above the cost of the tour will be generously matched. The Alliance encourages each rider to not only embark on this incredible journey but also to rally their community and raise as many funds as possible. All proceeds and fundraising efforts will contribute to the ongoing maintenance and development of the 9/11 National Memorial Trail\, ensuring that its significance endures for future generations.

DESCRIPTION:When you ride in the French Creek Iron Tour\, you have a direct impact on the preservation of the scenic countryside that surrounds you. Since 1967\, French & Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust has protected more than 13\,500 acres and created greenways and trails along the two creeks. Historically important lands are included in those 13\,500 acres.
