With the many bicycle clubs with all types of bicycles across the country that are planning to do this ride\, we should easily meet that goal. Your club or your individual members can choose to ride either day\, alone or together with other members of your club. and any route. Each member that rides would give his total mileage to your club president\, ride master or one other person in the club. Then as an example\, he/she would provide the name of your club with total number of riders\, mileage for each rider and the grand total for your club.

SUMMARY:Legislative Bike to Dover
DESCRIPTION:The Department of Transportation and Delaware Bicycle Council are proud to support the Legislative Bike to Dover! Senator Sokola sponsors this semi-formal ride with routes beginning from New Castle County and Sussex County\, ending at Legislative Mall in Dover. The starting point for New Castle riders is Middletown Square at 8:45 a.m. (30-miles). The starting point for Sussex-Kent riders is Milford Square in front of Tractor Supply Company at 9:15 a.m. (24-miles) and Mike & Mel’s Family Restaurant in Camden-Wyoming at 10:45 a.m. (4-miles). There will be rest stops for both the New Castle and Sussex routes. Each group leader will try to accommodate joining riders as best as possible\, but this is not guaranteed. Both groups will meet at Eden Hill at 11:30 a.m. to ride in unity for the last segment to Legislative Hall. There will be no scheduled refreshment stops along the routes. However\, if needing replenishment please visit one of the local convenience stores or restaurants. A return transit service from Dover back to Middletown Square will be provided but space is limited. A seat can be reserved when registering for the event.

DESCRIPTION:Ride for the Feast 2025 marks the 23rd year of Moveable Feast’s largest annual fundraising event. \nThis year’s Ride will take place on Saturday\, May 17\, 2025 and starts and ends at the Talbot County Community Center in Easton\, MD. We offer well-marked routes of 25\, 42\, 69 and 101 miles\, with plenty of fully stocked rest stops and on-route support in between. \nRide for the Feast does have a $1\,000 fundraising requirement\, however\, riders may lessen this through rider referrals ($200 credit for both parties). Also\, new teams that raise $500 by March 31st will also receive a $500 team fundraising match.

DESCRIPTION:The Brandywine Valley offers some of the best cycling terrain on the East Coast. \n Experience one of the most scenic cycling routes in the U.S. as the Wilmington Grand Prix’s 12th Annual Delaware Gran Fondo offers cyclists the unique opportunity to traverse a challenging 100-kilometer (62 miles) course linked by 13 cultural attractions\, including stunning rides through world-class institutions such as Hagley Museum & Gardens\, Granogue and Winterthur Museum\, Garden and Library. The Delaware Gran Fondo will allow cyclists the rare privilege of passing through these attractions on the same ride. The 2024 Fondo was a sell-out with riders from 18 states and five countries\, including Australia\, Canada and Great Britain as well as Florida\, Arizona\, Colorado\, South Carolina\, Texas and Connecticut\, participating in Delaware’s premier ride. \nTWO LESS CHALLENGING OPTIONS: \n* Media Fondo (60-kilometer/32-mile course). Everyone stops at the Amish School House on Rose Valley Road for pie. It’s the only rest stop where all routes will travel.  \nTo promote safety and to ensure that rest stops are not overwhelmed\, with everyone finishing when the food and entertainment will be starting\, a staggered start with police escort for each group will take place to send you on your way. Riders are expected to be ready to ride with your group: \nMotor vehicles are not restricted on the routes of the Amish Country Bike Tour. Follow all rules of the road. SUMMARY:Annual Philly Bike Expo
DESCRIPTION:The Philly Bike Expo is an annual weekend-long event featuring exhibitors\, seminars\, presentations and events representing the entire spectrum of cycling – all facets of cycling.  A celebration of All Things Bicycle!  Founded by Bilenky Cycle Works in 2010 as a way to promote cycling culture\, the PBE has grown to one of the largest cycling trade shows in the US. Last year’s sold-out show hosted nearly 200 exhibitors and 5\,000 attendees.\n \nThere will be short\, local group bike rides with Leaders\, guiding visiting cyclists around the city\, then\, returning to the venue for the Expo.\n \nThe PA Convention Center is accessible via plane\, train\, car\, and bus.  If you are staying at a hotel in the suburbs\, you can cycle into the city.  Indoor bicycle valet parking is provided by the non-profit Neighborhood Bike Works\, dedicated to youth career opportunities\, leadership skills\, and character development\, through cycling.

DESCRIPTION:The Pennsylvania Center for Adapted Sports (PCAS) is holding our 14th annual Cinco de Mayo Ride & Walk on May 3. The event supports our year round adaptive sports programs for people with disabilities. The ride and walk brings together athletes\, families\, volunteers\, and community members for a fun day to raise not only funds but also to increase awareness of adapting sports. At the event there are options for 25 mi and 50 mi open road rides through Chester County. \nPCAS is a leader in adapted sports starting with our rowing program\, Philadelphia Adaptive Rowing\, in 1981. From our boathouse at 1233 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Fairmount Park we offer adapted rowing\, cycling and kayaking. We have a cycling program in Chester County as well.
