While riders traverse between the two towns\, festivals will be held in both locations featuring craft beer\, live music\, food trucks\, kids rides/attractions\, exhibits and more. \nBronze Medal: Complete 20-mile circuit between Delaware City and New Castle.\nSilver Medal: Option One: Complete two circuits (40 miles) between Delaware City and New Castle. The DD is a fun 36 mile race with a twist: Get a 3 minute time credit for each donut eaten at stops positioned at mile markers 12 and 24. You choose from the Metric Century (66 miles)\, Half Century (52 miles)\, Ragged Point Ride (32 miles) or the Family Ride (9 miles).  \nThe Metric Century\, Half Century and Ragged Point Ride all include a t-shirt in your registration fee. The family ride is a short and fun ride for families to come out and ride together. Each year we have the Bike and Brew offering 15\, 25\, 50\, metric or century routes. Following the ride\, we have a great after party featuring a few bands\, BBQ chicken and beer that is all included in the ticket price! \nOn your quiet adventure you will wind through scenic byways and along historic waterways as you explore what makes our community so unique.  We’ve tied in some of the best historic attractions such as The Laurel Heritage Museum\, The Cook House\, Historic Bethel\, Bethel Museum\, and Old Christ Church to name a few.  Along the way enjoy important waterways that make up a portion of the Chesapeake Watershed \, the Nanticoke River Trail\, Mason Dixon In Delmar\,  and The Sussex County Historic and Scenic Byway. Of course\, the ride would not be complete without a stop at our true gem – Trap Pond State Park.

SUMMARY:Fall Foliage Tour
DESCRIPTION:Toward the end of September\, we do these five days of riding all over again as Fall Foliage hits the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.  The fall colors can be spectacular and on the right kind of a day\, we’ve had experienced cyclists say that a day’s ride was one of the best of their lives. \nAs with the June Tour we gather at 8 and leave at 8:30 am. DESCRIPTION:Three Creek Century Registration Is Now Open! \nHarrisburg Bicycle Club’s Three Creek Century will be held at the Penn Township Fire Department Complex\, 1750 Pine Road\, Newville PA on Sunday\, Sept. 17. Early bird registration is only $25 for this fully supported and enjoyable event. Route options include 25\, 50\, 75 and 100 miles plus the option to ride 18 miles on the beautiful and traffic-free Cumberland Valley Rail Trail. The South Mountain Challenge option is again being offered on the 50 mile route. All 50 mile riders will bike to the rest stop at Shippensburg Township Park where they will have the option of choosing the traditional route back to the firehouse or adding in over 1\,000 feet of additional climbing up to Big Flat. Be sure to invite your friends and relatives to join you on this scenic and well organized ride. SUMMARY:HBC’s Kings Gap Time Trial
DESCRIPTION:HBC’s Kings Gap Time Trial \n  \nThe Kings Gap Time Trial is a community outreach project designed to be a fun event and is NOT a sanctioned USA Cycling Race event. All profits go to the Friends of Kings Gap\, a non-profit group of dedicated volunteers who support\, protect and enhance Kings Gap State Park. Local cyclists have the luxury of enjoying this 3.5 mile climb and the rewarding downhill which is one of the most beautiful and popular in the area. Participating in the time trial is a great way to say thank you to this very special group of individuals as well as the staff of Kings Gap State Park. \n  \nThis year’s event is being held on Saturday September 9rd at Kings Gap State Park\, Dickinson Township\, Cumberland County\, PA. The event runs from 8 to 11 AM (so you’ll have the rest of your Saturday for other fun things). All riders 15 and over are welcome to participate. The registration fee is just $20. And there will lots of fun prizes\, as well as refreshments and camaraderie with fellow cyclists in a beautiful setting. The climb to the top of Kings Gap is a gradual 3.5 miles through a quiet\, traffic-free wooded area.
