SUMMARY:2018 Donut Derby
DESCRIPTION:The Lehigh Wheelmen invite you to participate in the 2018 Donut Derby on Labor Day\, September 3rd. The DD is a fun 36 mile race with a twist: Get a 3 minute time credit for each donut eaten at stops positioned at mile markers 12 and 24. Donut-adjusted time determines the winner in several age categories. \nThe race starts at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center\, Trexlertown at 9:00am. Lunch and an award ceremony follow the ride. \nAfter the DD\, your children\, age 10 and under\, are invited to ride the Munchkin Mile on the T-Town Velodrome. \nRegister at www.bikereg.com/lwa-donut-derby. \nCost of the ride is $30 and the registration deadline is August 30th or when event fills. No registrations on day of event.

DESCRIPTION:The sixth annual BikeMaine (September 8 – 15\, 2018) is a fully-supported\, seven-day cycling tour held in mid-September\, the prime time to ride in New England. The days are still warm\, the nights are comfortably cool\, and a hint of fall color is just beginning to appear in the trees. \nCyclists pedal an average of 55 miles per day along moderately challenging terrain on uncrowded\, safe\, and quiet roadways\, through small towns rich in local culture. This year’s ride in Aroostook County offers stunning vistas over miles of rolling hills\, routes along some of Maine’s most scenic waterways\, and stays in some of Maine’s most unique and charming communities. SUMMARY:Trailfest - A Celebration of Delaware Bike Paths & Greenways
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, September 22\, 2018 as we celebrate the completion of Delaware’s newest trail connecting the Wilmington Riverfront and Historic New Castle. This walkable\, bikeable trail\, with its wide boardwalk spanning the marsh at Russell Peterson Wildlife Refuge\, opens a whole new world for pedestrians and cyclists. It also adds to the hundreds of miles of bike paths and greenways now available in Delaware through efforts led by organizations such as Delaware Greenways and Bike Delaware. (learn more ») \nA highlight of Trailfest will be two bike rides to benefit Delaware Greenways and Bike Delaware\, whose decade-long advocacy drove the creation of this remarkable new asset. \n  \nREGISTER HERE
