DESCRIPTION:Galena Lions Club presents Ride To See\n\n\n\nSix well marked routes from 14 to 100 miles over the flat to rolling countryside of Kent County Maryland – including a flat 40 and a rolling 40. \nThe 100 mile loop has around 1\,700 feet of elevation gain/loss. \nRest stops are spaced every 20 miles or so with cold water \, Gatorade and snacks. Hamburgers\, hot dogs and refreshments will be provided after the ride. \nPlease come and join us. Without enough participants this may be our last year!

DESCRIPTION:Our 13th annual “Brake the Cycle of Poverty” ride through the beautiful rolling hills of rural Berks County is August 13th. \nThe event features 4 breathtaking courses: The 62-mile Metric Century rides through all 4 covered bridges in Berks County\, a 40-mile gentle rolling hills ride crosses two covered bridges\, another with 25 miles of winding backroads\, and a flat 10-mile scenic ride perfect for beginners and families too. \nAll four rides feature breath-taking views\, rolling hills\, winding backroads\, best-in-class GPS and SAG support\, nourishing rest stops\, and well-marked roads. There’s also food\, drink\, medical massage\, music\, and more when we’re done. This is a beautiful ride for a beautiful cause and we thank you!

SUMMARY:Lancaster Covered Bridge Classic
DESCRIPTION:This year’s event features three separate rides (35\, 65\, or 100 miles) as well as an option to participate in a local Trifecta\, all of which cross over a minimum of five covered bridges throughout farmland of the county. \nAll routes cover rolling terrain with moderate climbing\, seven different start and finish points with rolling starts. \nSAG support\nLunch provided\nCost: $45 \nProceeds from the ride benefit the Lancaster Bicycle Club’s grant program. Over $515\,000 has been donated for covered bridge restoration and bike-related initiatives since 1999.
