SUMMARY:2022 Legislators Bike Ride
DESCRIPTION:Senator Sokola sponsors this semi-formal ride with routes beginning from New Castle County and Sussex County\, ending at Legislative Hall in Dover. \nThe North riders can begin at the Polly Drummond Hill Shopping Center at 7:00 a.m. or from Middletown Square to pick up the group. \nThe South riders begin at the Dogfish Head Brewery at 7:45 a.m. or from Milford Square at the Tractor Supply Company or Mike & Mel’s Family Restaurant in Camden-Wyoming to pick up the group. \nEach group leader will try to accommodate joining riders as best as possible but this no guarantee. Please adjust your route\, schedule or cycling speed to be on Legislative Hall at 11:45 a.m. \nIf you can’t join a group but still want to ride into Dover’s Legislative Hall\, both groups will be joining at Eden Hill at 11:30 a.m. to ride in unity. \nThere will be no scheduled stops along the routes and there is a return bus trip back for the North riders. \n  \n\n2022-Legislators-Ride-Flyer.pdf\n2022-Leg-Ride-Polly-Drummond-to-Dover.pdf\n\n\n\n\nUpload Event Brochure

SUMMARY:Annual Amish Country Bike Tour
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy cycling through peaceful\, flat(!)\, low-traffic\, Amish countryside with riding options of 16\, 25\, 50\, 62 or 100 miles! \nThe Annual Amish Country Bike Tour will be held on Saturday\, September 10\, 2022. \nUp to 5 rest stops are included\, depending on distance\, but all routes stop at the famous Amish Schoolhouse\, where everyone enjoys fresh locally-baked pie! \nFollowing the bike tour\, there will be an opportunity to purchase photos of your ride from Finisher Pix\, finisher awards\, food. \nDeejay\, live music 11 am – 3pm a variety of vendors\, \nOur first Swap Meet\, lunch (included) provided by Rolling Revolution food trucks\, plus adult beverages from NKS Distributors. Wine bottle sales through Harvest Ridge Winery with adult beverage/bottle tickets (must be 21) on Legislative Mall in historic downtown Dover\, Delaware. \n
