SUMMARY:Legislative Bike to Dover
DESCRIPTION:The Department of Transportation and Delaware Bicycle Council are proud to support the Legislative Bike to Dover! Senator Sokola sponsors this semi-formal ride with routes beginning from New Castle County and Sussex County\, ending at Legislative Mall in Dover. The starting point for New Castle riders is Middletown Square at 8:45 a.m. (30-miles). The starting point for Sussex-Kent riders is Milford Square in front of Tractor Supply Company at 9:15 a.m. (24-miles) and Mike & Mel’s Family Restaurant in Camden-Wyoming at 10:45 a.m. (4-miles). There will be rest stops for both the New Castle and Sussex routes. Each group leader will try to accommodate joining riders as best as possible\, but this is not guaranteed. Both groups will meet at Eden Hill at 11:30 a.m. to ride in unity for the last segment to Legislative Hall. There will be no scheduled refreshment stops along the routes. However\, if needing replenishment please visit one of the local convenience stores or restaurants. A return transit service from Dover back to Middletown Square will be provided but space is limited. A seat can be reserved when registering for the event.

SUMMARY:Ride for the Feast
DESCRIPTION:Ride for the Feast 2025 marks the 23rd year of Moveable Feast’s largest annual fundraising event. \nThis year’s Ride will take place on Saturday\, May 17\, 2025 and starts and ends at the Talbot County Community Center in Easton\, MD. We offer well-marked routes of 25\, 42\, 69 and 101 miles\, with plenty of fully stocked rest stops and on-route support in between. \nRide for the Feast does have a $1\,000 fundraising requirement\, however\, riders may lessen this through rider referrals ($200 credit for both parties). Also\, new teams that raise $500 by March 31st will also receive a $500 team fundraising match.

DESCRIPTION:The Brandywine Valley offers some of the best cycling terrain on the East Coast. \n Experience one of the most scenic cycling routes in the U.S. as the Wilmington Grand Prix’s 12th Annual Delaware Gran Fondo offers cyclists the unique opportunity to traverse a challenging 100-kilometer (62 miles) course linked by 13 cultural attractions\, including stunning rides through world-class institutions such as Hagley Museum & Gardens\, Granogue and Winterthur Museum\, Garden and Library. The Delaware Gran Fondo will allow cyclists the rare privilege of passing through these attractions on the same ride. The 2024 Fondo was a sell-out with riders from 18 states and five countries\, including Australia\, Canada and Great Britain as well as Florida\, Arizona\, Colorado\, South Carolina\, Texas and Connecticut\, participating in Delaware’s premier ride. \nTWO LESS CHALLENGING OPTIONS: \n* Media Fondo (60-kilometer/32-mile course). All routes enjoy police-escorted mass start from Rockford Park through Hagley Museum & Gardens & Winterthur Museum and Library. No timed climbs. Less challenging than Gran Fondo but some hilly terrain.  \n* Governor’s Ride (15-mile course). Register at:  https://www.bikereg.com/governorsride \nTwo timed climbs for age-group prizes in Gran Fondo only. King/Queen of the Climb Medals to top three finishers in each age group. \n Riders must be 16 or older to participate. REGISTRATION LIMITED TO 1ST 500 RIDERS. There are NO REFUNDS.
