The Newark Bike Project (NBP) is getting some new bike racks in on Saturday, March 29 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. The local cycling non-profit is needing assistance disassembling old racks and installing new ones.
The process isn’t really complicated for volunteers, but NBP does have lots of bikes currently sitting in the racks that’ll have to be shuffled around.
After taking the old racks apart, the pieces are given to its scrap contact so all old materials can be properly recycled. Once assembled, the new racks complete and get the bikes back up in order, it’ll be a much safer, better looking space.
