Ride Leader Training

We are looking for energetic, responsible, vocal and fun-loving cyclists! Does that describe you?  Then keep reading…

Have you joined any of the group rides led by the White Clay Ride Leaders?  Have you ever considered leading your own Club rides?  If you answered “Yes!” to either of those questions, we urge you to consider attending one of the Club’s Ride Leader training courses and becoming a WCBC Ride Leader.  On Sunday, November 15th, WCBC’s Ride Captain, Ceci McCormick, will be holding a Ride Leader Training session at the Brandywine Hundred Public Library from 1:30 pm  to 4:30 pm.

This FREE 3 hour session will include: Expectations of Ride Leaders, How to access the Ride Calendar, and a short ride to review ride rules and responsibilities.

You must pre-register by November 11th if you plan to attend, so check it out on the Ride Calendar for information about the free training and how to pre-register (http://www.huntcal.com/cal/eventview/WCBC/WCBC?_sid=d90dcf2a5fb044&yr=2015&id=443624984&d=15&m=11).

Please consider becoming a Ride Leader and expanding our Club’s offerings to its members and the public.  We can only grow through the efforts of our members and volunteers and the Club could use your help.
