Ok…I’ve made sure my membership is current, I’ve checked out the COVID-19 Update page and reviewed the Club Led Ride Resumes, Rules and Guidelines, and Revised Waiver – I’m ready to join a club-led ride – now what?
I read that there will be online pre-registration, but how do I do it, where do I go?
Pre-registration links will be posted on the Ride Calendar. Select a ride posting that interests you. Within that posting will be a link to a Sign Up Genius pre-registration form. It will look similar to this link to a ride in North Wilmington – https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F0F45A4A82CA0F49-nwilmington1.
You will select the link. When the form opens review the details.
You will find dates, times, and most importantly how many slots are still available to sign up. Provided there are open slots check the appropriate Sign Up check box and then at the bottom of the screen select the Submit and Sign Up box which will take you to the second page. You’re half way there.
You will enter your Name, Email, Cell Phone and a Name and Phone Number for your Emergency Contact.
And finally the certifications. There are six statements that you must review and affirm if you want to ride with the club. Provided you can, check the six boxes and select Sign Up Now at the lower left and pre-registration is complete. If you cannot check all six boxes, select Cancel, exit the pre-registration process, and you will not be permitted to participate in that ride.
Please do not show up for a ride without pre-registering – you will be turned away. For the present, there is no walk-up day-of registration due to the current health crisis. Matter of fact, for now we want to have riders pre-registered before Noon the day before the ride date.
We appreciate your patience as we move forward with offering club-led rides during this health crisis and developing these new new procedures.
