Fa-La-La-La Fearless: Holiday Ugly Sweater Ride

We asked Club members to don their worst winter holiday apparel and 10 riders were unafraid to meet the challenge. A medley of motley ensembles topped the usual Spandex for a display no one may forget. Even if they want to.

The festival of holiday fashion faux pas cruised through St. Georges, onto the Mike Castle Trail along the C&D Canal and ending in New Castle.

“It was heartwarming to see all those who came out for a fun ride through some of the local neighborhoods spreading some holiday cheer. We had 10 total including myself and a co-worker I had invited to come join us. In true Club fashion, they welcomed him and encouraged him to come out again,” said WCBC President & Elf Ride Leader Jamie Plower.

Although it was tough competition, JW Haupt was ranked as the most most fashion-challenged. His Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer headgear really set fashionistics aglow and agog.

After spreading all that cheer, the Ugly Sweaters group warmed up themselves with some holiday cheer post-ride at Dolly Spankers.
