WCBC member Ariel Hase is an experienced cyclist on the road, in the mountains and via bikepacking, but she had never tried the bikepacking-camping combo.
Enter her mother-in-law, adventure cyclist and YouTuber Katrina Hase. The duo recently completed a 3-day trek in the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon as the fall colors brightened.
While Katrina was introducing the camping element to the gravel cycling trip, Ariel enlightened her midwestern mother-in-law to the east coast’s terrain, history and nomenclature.
