Set between the two major supported events, the Doublecross Metric and Shorefire Century, is an oasis of hamburgers, chicken sausages and veggie burgers. The annual WCBC Summer Picnic brought out around 30 strong to enjoy the food and camaraderie.

Despite some scattered showers, two groups rode to the festivities. Executive Committee Members Deanna Cain, Bill Ebbott and Jamie Plower hosted the soirée at Beck’s Pond Park in Newark.

Plans are already being made for next summer—including a new location. Should be fun.
