Defying initial forecasts, the weather came through with a big W for WCBC’s June supported ride event. More than 100 riders enjoyed wonderful temperatures with cloud-cover, little wind and a smidge of sprinkles.

Doublecross Coordinator Fred Hartman, with assistance from event volunteers, provided the framework for a smooth ride for participants.

Bike MS Bike to the Bay Senior Manager Michael Franken had a table to share information about his organization’s October event. Michael cited WCBC’s Doublecross and Shorefire as “good training” for MS’s Bike to the Bay.
