As usual, WCBC had some representatives participating in the Wilmington Grand Prix/Delaware Gran Fondo extended weekend. While just riding in the events is the main objective, selected timed hill climbs were included.

The Monkey Hill Commuter Challenge was an urban cyclist traveler climb up the steep and cobbled Monkey Hill by the Brandywine Zoo. In the Gran Fondo, participants faced the 2 hills, Rt 52 to Center Meeting Rd (.5 miles, 7% average gradient) and Granogue Driveway In (.5 miles, 5.4% average gradient).
