Break the Cycle, organized by the American Academy for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP), is a ride from Washington State to Washington, D.C. to raise awareness and support for children’s mental health issues. Dr. Andrés Martin, an AACAP member psychiatrist, will be riding from August to October across the country to spread the word that children’s mental illnesses are real, common, and treatable.
There are a variety of ways to get involved with Break the Cycle, but we especially hope you join Dr. Martin as he rides through Pennsylvania and Maryland. You can sign up here to be a featured rider on our Riders page! You’re also welcome to support Break the Cycle by:
- Taking the pledge in support of children’s mental health
- Making a donation or fundraising
