The new ride jersey has a French connection.

When Ride Captain Rita Law needed to update Ride Leader jerseys, she looked across the ocean for the solution. Her son Everett, an art student in France, accepted the challenge of creating the jersey. He delivered an outstanding design that not only makes his Mom proud, but also one that any Ride Leader would be keen to wear.

Everett took selected traditional elements of WCBC’s colors, maps and messaging for a modern, sleek appearance. The Delaware blue serves as a background for the minimalist outline of the local area on the front. The jersey sports text with Ride Leader designation, bicycle wheel, #RideWCBC, year awarded and Club name on the back, sides and sleeves.

The 2023 Ride Leader jerseys will be awarded at the annual winter banquet. Earn yours by volunteering as a Ride Leader next season.
